The Kenko works on all Canon lenses and my Sigma 150 macro so I assume it works on other Sigma lenses as well. Since it doesn't have the protruding element like the Canon 2x, it will fit onto your 70-200 Sigma and 90-300. Canon's TC only works on primes 135 and above and Canon 70-200, 100-400

If you want really good candid photos you have to blend in, so boys and girls dont forget to wear your fav mardi gras costume for the night
I'm thinking of some storage device for my oversea trip actually, but too late for your hard drive Zane! I'll probably get about 4x 1Gb ultra 2 cards. This would give me about 4x 150 raw shots on my 300D, do you think this would be enough for a 2 week trip? I'll probably do a lot of deleting i guess.
Ed, does the manfrotto strap work well? i'm thinking of getting one for mine, or do you think the bag is better? some guy is selling a 2nd hand strap for $35 on ebay, not cheap!
Nah, don't get my harddrive. It's got practical problems which is why I am selling. I am looking at the Epson P2000 which is out of stock everywhere.
I don't know, 4GB is not enough for me especially for a holiday. Last time, I went to HK & China for 2 weeks partly for business partly for photography, I shot 8GB!!
Instead of buying a manfrotto strap I used a strap from an old Targus computer bag. It has that stretchy neoprene fabric in the middle so it's comfortable and it was virtually free as I use a backpack now.

The strap works well. I wouldn't be able to carry the tripod around without it. I mean, look at all the crap that I already have!
The bag might be better if you want to carry extra bits and pieces, but it's less portable, in that the strap is always on the tripod, whereas you have to put the bag somewhere.
btw, $35 for a used strap is a rip-off. You can get them new for $45.
I'm trying to develop a habit of treating memory cards like film/slide. It does make me think more before i shoot. But still, on a typical shooting of around 50 photos, i only find the really good ones to be about 10-20%, the rests are just average. How good are you guys "sucess" rate? i guess we all have different standard of what's a good shot.

That's what i thought, i tried using my adidas sport bag strap! works pretty well actually. Looks a bit out of place though!

Get yourself a new HDD.... I think I got 40Gb... last a month or so on RAW files!!!
I was thinking of that too, if i get a HD i'd only get a 1Gb card only to supplement my other 512/256 cards. What do you think of the HD with a colour display??
What do you clip the other side to? My legs have a ring at the top, but it doesn't have anything that could be used near the feet. Hence the manfrotto strap.
