Sorry for late reply. Just going back a few pages reading all the posts I missed during the week. Their ad agency found my webpage via google and sent me an email.
Thx Chris.. the thing was there was some accreditation thingy going on but there was so many of us without that the security guards just left us to our devices provided we didn't get in the way of the parade... sure peeved off those behind the barricade.

Last year, we had Ed, James, Adam, Zane, Nicole ... and Smelly(?) and we met around 5pm at Starbucks remember? I think we can still do the same this year. There are plenty of photo ops before the parade starts...

Yep, that one is the original LS, I have the LS2 PJ coming in this week.
It works quite well! I haven't used it for any real work though, just candid stuff. I've got a couple of weddings coming up in the next month so I'm going to put together a 'working comparison' example page with my results. So far though, I like the light better when it's on.
I might take you up on the Mardi Gras outing, though it's a super busy weekend so I'll have to let you know closer to the date
