Nice gallery Michael .Loads up very quick considering its flash . Easy to navigate too . Cool .
Hoping to go out to EC tommorrow for the A1 GP . All depends on how my son shapes up tommorrow .He's been crook (nothing major , usual kids stuff ) , so if he's crook again i'll have to wait till saturday .
Not sure how much . I think its about 30 bucks (??) I'll Find out when i get there . I'll be there early and probably staying late , if everything goes to plan .
We modified some bits for one of the sculptures down there .I have no idea what the finished piece looks like as the parts were brought to us by a friend of a friend and they had no idea about what it was . What ever it is its huge as there are several 20 ft pieces of aluminium tube in it .
No A1 for me today as the young bloke is still crook .But i'll hopefully be there tommorrow and sunday .
Hi to all you guys as I just found this part of the forum it just took me about a year to find lol.
Michael love the website some great shots there love the colour in all the shots do you shot in raw or jpeg ?
hey billy welcome to this side of the forum..... i always shoot in jpeg and post processing done in photoshop..... it actually took me a while to find this part of the forum aswell.... the boys like a bit of fresh meat so be careful....
No A1 GP for me today . I feel rooted . Went yesterday .Not a bad setup .The A1 cars are as ugly as sin . Overcast all day which made it a bit more comfy to get around .Quite a few areas that aren't noramlly restricted are restricted while this shows in town . All round though not a bad event . Took a few pics .I'll post some when i PP .
Behind the skid pan was all off limits .I also got asked to leave from the area opposite which is a car park and normally is no problem . I'm guessing maybe the international rules they are running under govern track restrictions .
Also the access to the A1 cars in the paddock/pit area wasn't great , unless you had an aditional pass, which i didn't have .When i first walked in i came out of the grandstand tunnel and started walking along the paddock side of the garages as the rope barrier (which i noticed later ) was open and thought , cool ,this is ok . Then got the tap on the shoulder again . And the guys with the shiny passes asked me to get back into the pleb area behind the barrier which was about 25 ft from the garages which were divided by containers and placed in such a way as you could hardly see into the garages .So there was limited viewing from back there . All up it was not a bad day for 60 odd bucks .
You're right.. ugly as sin... somehow it hasn't generated enough excitment for me to go to these race meets... Rally is getting worse though with the withdrawal of the Subaru Rally Team Australia.
I went to the Sculpture by the Sea yesterday with Nicole for a couple of hours near sunset... it was pretty crowded with people and cars and so damn hard to find a parking spot...
There's a Kodak stand offering free prints and digial photo competition.
The sculptures are quite different to those last year. But we only saw part of it as Nicole didn't wear comfortable shoes. I saw heaps of photographers, but no FMers
Anyone got any ideas on where to go late next week for 2 weeks? I'll be between jobs so I've all the time in the world to take more photos... studio work? suggestions? meetup?
