Dan, thank you very much for your kind words! I am glad you like those images.
Geo, very wonderful set of images! I like then all so let me give you a bit of real feedback.
The setting is really great with the vibrant greens and more muted blues. The white clothing, like black goes with any color without a clash so good choice. It's also more dificult to control the blowout on white and you've done that very well, so near perfect exposures!
I'm gonna lump these all into the Beauty Shot genre. Maybe this is only me but beauty shots need beauty lighting. I feel they would have benefited from light refletect into the face to better balance out the shadows of the short lighting. I use short light to create drama or intigue which is usually not my intend on beauty shots.
All the shots are impressively well done. My favorite is the jump shot, probably because for me it not only has action to create impact but that also approaches art for me. When shooting I always ask myself if someone would pay money to hang my shot on their wall? Will my image create that much desire in another person.
Love the wet hair toss. I've always wanted to do one of those at the ocean but as you assuredly already know it's not that easy to align all the stars necessary to be at the ocean with a model! LoL
Very beautiful images and very nice control of the light and use of a very nice model. Beautiful job!!!

Thank you very much for taking the time to render your kind words, John! Just a little bit of a background of the jump shot; I used a 105mm lens at wide open, resulting in a shallow depth-of-field. Frankly, I gambled by pre-focusing. I did check for the focus right there and we got lucky since her eyes are in perfect in the first try. The hair toss image on the other hand was the result of several tries. The speed of the sling/toss controlled the size and amount of water. I also varied the shutter speed and found that 1/500-1/1000 sec seems to be the best for that particular case.
Nice shots with nice lighting. In #1 my feeling is that the model's right arm is a little stiff (too straight). #2 is my fav. Thankfully there were no sleeper waves.

I appreciate your kind words, Dennis! Yes, fortunately not here and not at that time, but I had a model completely drenched before. And the water was cold, I was told... .

Joshua, Very nice!
I agree that I like the colors and the contrast. The three shots on the rock are my favorite although I admit to liking #4 quite a bit too.
I have to ask. What lens did you use especially for the first three?
Thank you very much, Brian! The first 4 images were shot using Zeiss Batis 135mm f/2.8 at wide open and the last one with the Sigma 105mm f/1.4, also at wide open.

Great work. Very polished and a wonderful model. Love that last one.
Thank you very much, Arka! The depth-of-field is very shallow in the last image. I was pleasantly surprised that she was in perfect focus on the first try.
