p.1 #1 · EOS R5 FW Update 1.2 and Sony 512GB Card Formatting
A poster over on the Canon USA user forum reported an issue where an R5 with FW1.2 wouldn’t recognize a Sony 512GB card as compatible and thus wouldn’t format it. Putting the same card in a body with FW 1.1 allowed the card to be formatted. It then was recognized by the FW 1.2 body and performed OK.
