I hope you weren't expecting snow, though it can happen there from time to time. Still, it was a very cold morning in Joshua Tree National Park last week as I wandered around very early, alone, and remote. Single exposure, real sky.
Thank you all for the kind comments. I never got this color show again for the remaining three days I was there. You should always treat your first day at a location like it's your last and pursue the best image there.
I always enjoy your photographs and this one is no exception. I do however find the haloing around the prominent tree in the foreground to be distracting in an otherwise fine composition.
