My wife and I, along with her brother and his wife, took an 11-day rental RV trip through the National Parks of southern Utah in mid-March of this year. Needless to say, it was an unusual but visually stunning experience. This image was captured at the spur of the moment after we pulled our RV's into our first campground in Monument Valley. It had been raining a little bit, and we saw this view as we turned and looked north. I grabbed my camera and ran to the edge of the campground to get this shot. This caption seems fitting for all the issues going on in 2020:

Thanks for the kind feedback. It was a wonderful trip and a new experience to travel by RV. The parks and landscape throughout Utah and Arizona were amazing.
This campground stop was just across the border from Arizona into Utah. This is where we learned of the first closings related to the pandemic... the entire Navajo Nation had just closed, including the scenic drive through the Arizona portion of Monument Valley.
We continued north to stay the next 3 nights in a campground in Moab. There we saw the run on grocery stores and the start of the dining restrictions. The day before we left restaurants were open for every other table... this was March 17th. We were very close to pulling the plug on our trip after hearing that hotels/campgrounds in the area were being closed to new reservations. We checked to find the reservations ahead of us were just fine, and we kept going. Good decision. With the exception of visitor center buildings, the parks were all open.
Again, thanks for looking and the feedback! I hung a 16 x 32 canvas print on my family room wall and am very pleased with it!
