Today I stumbled on a disk drive that was in a draw that I hadn't opened for a long time. The good news is I found photos, on the drive, that I took of the Painted Hills back in 2011, I thought they were lost forever.
You will notice the hills are streaked. The Ranger said that it had rained very hard a couple of weeks prior to my arrival.

Stood the test of time (2011), and a benefit to us that you found your "lost" files. Your compositions and color rendering are pleasing, calm and... spectacular!
Living in Central Oregon, this National Monument of fossils is pretty neat but that 2nd picture is not the normal shot. We do have a new Wilderness on Sutton Mountain next to the painted Hills.
Normally I might say 3 is a little over processed but I love it. Tbh they are all very good. Thank you for showing me an area I’d have likely never seen

YGMV, these are lovely photos of a place I was not familiar with. Next time I'm in OR, I'll try to get out there.

Those hills are wild! Nice to see them in differing conditions.

The color variation on the first shot is insane, would like to see this in person some day.
