This set is sweet Geoff. 3.5, 7, 13, 17 and 20 are my favorites. Looks like you are back to your old Canon glass with a new Body. Are you considering which system to keep or do you like each for different reasons?
I had thought you had posted some good pictures previously but you have outdone yourself. The bird with its head down dn the swan are so perfect. The detail in each and everyone is outstanding. I am selling all my gear and giving up.

How do you find the R5 and the 100-500 combo?
Thanks KD. TVIMATYVM
The R5/100-500 is working really well. The lens is a great optic on par with lenses like the 100-400II and Sony 200-600. No complaints with IQ...of course f7.1 is starting to push things a little too dark sometimes.
R5 is the second best focusing camera I've owned. Just behind the A9/A9II. But the Bird-Eye Detect is amazing and for non-flight stuff it is easier to get shots than with my Sony kit because of the Eye Detect.

I'm liking the new Canon kit but I'm trying to decide on which system to use going forward. Right now I'm more invested in Sony because I own the 600/4 so I'll be sticking with that a lot of the time. But keeping the Canon kit also to see where Canon goes with big lenses next year. Trying to convince myself to sell my remaining Nikon gear.

Excellent work, Geoff... Get rid of the Sony you don't need that anymore... lol
These are all simply outstanding Geoff! Gorgeous light, fantastic fall colors and amazing details.
You really make any gear you touch shine. I have yet to capture anything even close to your worst shot here with my R5.

I love them all, seriously how could I not. The third photo stands out to me, no reason why. I love color so maybe that is it...? Mrs. runakid
Geoff..................astounding work sir
It appears that the R5 in your hands is no slouch for sharpness and tracking.
I am on my work laptop, I will fully enjoy these a few times over late tonight on the big screen when I get home
**Outrageous work Geoff! Color saturation is rich and delicious on these, really felt the Autumn season here. Fantastic IF work with both rigs................Voted
