While I was photographing birds at Lake Hodges, three Bobcats crossed the trail behind me. I was the edge of the lake and had come down the trail about a half hour earlier. They were very cautious about emerging onto the trail to get across, and were curious about me and the big lens. They seemed impressed that I was looking at them with such a big eye.
These images are also posted in the 600/4 thread in the Sony forum.

The soft light renders their color and form beautifully.

Triplets? Excellent images, Dave! The isolation in the second image makes that my pick.
Joshua
Thanks Joshua. I prefer the isolation of the second too, even though it is only one of them. Unfortunately the pair did not give a good pose more clear of the vegetation.

Yes, getting Bobcat photos is not easy. They are very elusive. You need to get lucky like I did.

Some people have all the luck. I have yet to ever have the chance to click on one of these kitties.
Kudos for checking behind you and nailing the shots!

Thanks Dave. Bobcats are very difficult to get photograph since they are very good at hiding. Yes, I was lucky.
