Very well processed. The only way to handle those boring skies in my opinion. Bob

Don't post a version in color... this is your image, and it's monotone, and it's perfect the way it is.

Hi All, thank you for all your input, comments and suggestions.

After looking at the photos in b&w vs color, I don't see color would be better due to plain sky and obvious shadow on the lake so I will not edit and post it.

Great images which I think will be good any way you go with them. Is it possible that in the second the horizon is a little off. I'm looking at the end of the lake.

Chuck

Thanks Chuck, I fixed the slightly tilted horizon.

Real nice B&W's. I agree that this is "ART" not science where you have to go back and prove the Materials & Methods used to validate the photographs. If his intentions are strictly to provide an artistic expression in B&W, then that's all that matters. In fact, some cameras don't even take color such as the Leica "M" 246 and Red Digital Cinema makes a CMOS sensor that only does monochromatic photos.

I converted a Canon 6D last year to an infrared high enough that it only sees infrared in the 800nm's which is generally monochromatic. It's a very unique type of black and white!

Just my $0.02.

Thanks for comment, I see that in certain photos Or subjects with not so optimum light B&W edits could yield better results.
