I had received a tip on where they were and I went there in the middle of the night and rigged up my hide and waited for a number of hours for these and finally they came and they were quite willing to pose for some photography and they actually sat still for quite a while
Going out in the night to set up your blind and waiting for the right moment & light to photograph this kingfisher is impressive work. Spectacular images with breath-taking color!!
