Really beautiful stuff Joshua, beautiful crisp images. I love your processing. Was this your A7IV? Lovely blurred backgrounds. The eyes in #1 are riveting.

Dave, thank you for your kind words! The images were taken with the A7r IV, if that’s what you meant. FYI, the A7 IV hasn’t been announced yet . The lens I used for #1 and #5 was a Sigma 105mm f/1.4 Art at wide open aperture.

Beautiful set Joshua! With your club axe Sigma 105. f1.4 I am surprised the security did not hassle you as a professional.
The two with the Sigma are great, but I Really like the 3 taken with your Voigtlander 50 f2 APO. I was thinking of adding the Voigtlander 40mm f1.2 SE to go with my Batis 85 and 135, but I have not yet seen any portraits taken with a 40mm, C/V, Batis or otherwise, with such beautiful rendering in the bg as this.

Thank you very much for your kind words, Jim! Actually, as long as you don’t use any tripod or lighting equipment on stand (I believe flash on the camera is okay) you are allowed to take pictures there without securing any permit. That was my first time of using the CV 50mm APO and for a portrait session at that. I am pleased with the results and it made me slow down and think about the composition, etc. instead of firing off a bunch of shots.
