I shot this photo during a cold, drizzly and rather miserable day on the California coast. I always enjoy my time along the coast, even those "miserable" days have their beauty.

I'm glad that you like it. At the time I was just desperately trying to find something worthwhile to shoot. To be honest, I didn't really think that I was very successful until I got back to my computer. I always remind myself that no matter the situation, there is always a shot, even though I might not see it.
That's good to hear, especially coming from you. I have learned so much from you and the other fine photographers on this site. FM is a never ending source of inspiration for me.
