A month off work is not a problem! I retired a few years ago.
The Cali Peregrines are great, but this year Torrey Pines has been off limits due to lots of bad behavior. Next year I hope to be vaccinated and back on the beach and the cliff. You should make the trip. Bring Pius too.

These kestrel photos are stunning. I love the composition and colors, as well as the variety of behaviors you've shared.
I use to try to photograph this species and have since given up because of their size and challenge to bridge the distance... clearly, you've produced a body of work that has always seemed near impossible to me.
If anyone from Vancouver Island wants to adopt a 55 year old man let me know
