Great shots but for me, the wall lizards held my interest. Unlike the Burmese python in Florida, these critters seem to be pretty benign except maybe to alligator lizards.
Thanks. The lizards certainly made all these shots more interesting. Quite an invasive species that is rapidly multiplying according to people that have lived here a lot longer than my 3 years.
I have always thought that you consistently post the best photos on Fred Miranda. No disrespect to anyone else but the types of birds you shoot, the difficult species, the BIF prowess, the clean processing just stand out above the rest. Congrats on some outrageously nice photos. Easiest vote for featured thread ever in my opinion!!!
Holy crap. What a set. That must have been a fun day watching all that action. What a great location you had as well. In flight, perch, nest. Got them all. Amazing. Bob

I don't know Geoff.......I've been hanging around here for a long time looking at images and remembering the challenges we all had capturing BIF.
To see this number of incredibly accurate images on such a challenging subject is impressive to say the least.
I'm just going to go ahead and vote though that doesn't even do this series justice but it's the best praise I can offer
All good, I'll look these over and over and over
Karl
Thanks Karl....this new age of AF is making some of this BIF stuff almost too easy but I'm okay with that because I'm just excited about capturing the dynamic images of them in fast flight.

Incredible series, this guy was putting on a show for you! YGMV
Thanks Tony. Both mom and dad (most of these are mom) were busy feeding the youngsters all morning long.

Geoff, this is unbelievable. If anything can convince me about the power of Sony for inflight shots, it has to this series. Cannot pick a fav. VVVFS - go figure out the acronym.
Thanks KD...I will ask Siri or similar to figure out your new acronym and PM you the results
I'm late to another of your parties, Geoff, but no end to the superlatives that apply here. What unique and fascinating insight these outstanding and beautiful pictures provide. I also appreciate your "life story"--adds to my (lack of) knowledge about AKs and puts some context around why we spend hours and hours observing and documenting the smallest details of natural history.
I have been too busy and haven't been visiting FM lately. I just stopped by and saw this thread, and I am just amazed... Absolutely wonderful frames. TFS...
