First go with the new lens. Coming from auto focus I thought it would be hard working with a manual lens, but with Focus peeking it's actually a lot easier than I thought. at 0.95 though the DOF is razor thin but boy it's worth persevering with when the lens renders like this. Also must say I'm really impressed with the build quality on this lens.
Although it is a wide angle, I would suggest trying the magnification method of focusing for critical focus, especially since you like the aperture of f/0.95. Just a suggestion, of course.

Its certainly a challenge using this lens but much easier with focus peeking and also the zoom focus check function. I just need to get quicker at acquiring focus so that I don't miss the moment.
