Agreed. I have only been once, and that was in February. Loved it. Summer scares me due to crowds, but maybe better in the Highlands?

The places we were in the highlands we barely met a single person, however we were in a more unknown places that are a more difficult to visit if you don't have a really good car for the roads
there are less people in the highlands for sure
