Was able to find a really cool spot with some trees in the dunes on one of my visits to Death Valley last year. The photograph just evokes emotion in me. I especially love the tree closest to the sun, struggling to get free and reaching for the light. One of my favorite shots from the Eastern Sierra. Hope you enjoy it as well.

That's quite the massive sunstar! Nice image.
DV is not considered eastern Sierra area, even though it is east of the Sierra Nevada Range,
Thank you guys!
Fred, nice catch on the low angle perspective.
Jeffrey, so true. I go all around when I'm there, I just really call everything the eastern Sierra. My climbing buddies call it the Easterns...so I feel ya on staying technically correct as well too. haha.
