I know the somber (I like to think they're thoughtful!) expressions in my portraits aren't for everyone. I got a smile from my daughter and thought I would share.

Dawn, I like your portrait style and your kids, or in this case, your daughter is adorable and she has a sweet smile. This is an excellent image! Like I mentioned somewhere else, it is easy for us, the viewer, to comment rather than for the photographer to make the portrait. Is the light pink border in the lower section a part of your daughter's dress? I would like to either see more or see less of it rather than that pinching out at a few places. I hope you don't mind...
