p.1 #1 · Scrummaging technique

Many years since I played in the front row of the scrum but the introduction of a 'rescue' Dane and it's interactions with our resident Shepherd as they play-fight to sort out hierarchy and status reminds me only too clearly of what used to go on there - with the almost total lack of gentlemanly conduct and fair play - character building for the real world we were told !!

Just want to stress to avoid any misunderstandings - all of this in robust play - no real aggression and fireside companions afterwards.

I only know of Weimaraners in passing - her colour shifts with the nature of the light ... sometimes very blue slate/dark smoke grey but sometimes lighter grey with tinges of light-milk-chocolate colour. Does that occur with Weimaraners ?? I recall that when Weimaraners began to be more popular in England (in the 1950-60's ? ) they had the nickname of 'grey ghosts' and the lack of precision in the colour that might be implied in that would certainly suit her colouring.

Yes I know exactly what you mean Dan - with my actual children and now my substitute ones I want(ed) them to play hard and learn from it but also be safe - sometimes a difficult line - same here with these two but they have to be sure of their relationship.

I was reluctant to post these at first - I would not want to be within a million miles of actual dog-fighting and was worried about the images being misunderstood.

John, I didn't mis-understand your message or images, I just get "scared"(Not correct term) when I see teeth being shown but I know that that doesn't relate to a bite nor an attack.....I just got unjustly nervous in my mind knowing full well nothing was occurring beyond play!
Give them a "good boy/girl" for me!!

Great set of pics! Our 2 play similarly until tired and then snuggle, usually by the fireplace..
