Not entirely unpublished for me, since I follow the great Sony thread very carefully, but always amazing... exceptional series, these images should be included in a tourist book to promote travel in that area
Manuel
Manuel, thank you very much for your kind words! Yes, the difference between the various posts scattered in that Sony thread and here is the emphasis on human elements.

These are incredible. The sharpness of the crater in the first photo is unreal. Beautiful set of photos!

I agree with everyone that said these photos are amazing! What beautiful scenery, and people. Thanks for sharing.
These are incredible Joshua. The first has so many excellent elements - the sky, the textures, the depth that you got. Fantastic set and a pleasure to watch.

Gautam, thank you very much! I was very fortunate that not only the weather but also a few other shooting conditions cooperated that morning.

Great set Josh, i particularly like the horse image.
Big kudos to you for your truth in captioning. In my opinion, it enhances your images. Your background information increases our connection to your subjects and firmly establishes the authenticity of your images.
We have seen postings in this forum where the photographer claims his images are spontaneous "street candids." But others of us who have been to these same places recognize the "candid subjects" as paid posers who make extra money by posing for fake "candids." There was nothing candid or spontaneous about the photos at all.

Awesome photos! Went there this past December, didn't get nearly the results you did! Can't wait to go back sometime soon!
Thank you very much, Cory! I would love to go back to this magical place one more time while I still can. I definitely have to do within 5 years though or I wouldn’t be able to... . It was quite strenuous climb up the hill. We hiked up even higher than in the first image on the second morning but the weather conditions were not as beautiful as in the first morning. And we left our hotel at 2:00AM that morning to get some Milky Way shots. The images from the second morning were landscape-oriented while the people images were taken in the valley and at the village.
