Very well done...being indoors in winter, did you run hot, warm or cold water?
The water was ground water coming through a faucet and it was still winter here, so the water was cold, damned cold. But I put the water in a day before and worked it until the water was room temp. Plus I kicked up the room temp to 78 degrees. So all the dancers were pretty comfortable.

Fantastic Ron!!! Girl's lacrosse was just a idea when I played in college. Great action, great model, great backdrop!!
Super stuff!!

Ron these absolutely knock my socks off. Great work and I am certain the girls loved every minute of the sessions. When I look at this studio and think back to the original one you had in Chicago I got a mile wide smile. Really a great facility. I am thrilled for your success as you well know. Congrats my friend and further congrats on the extremely successful photo conference.
these are insanely amazing, Ron. love what you are able to do with people. I am very envious (in a good way) of what you are able to do. Bravo and what a delightful set.

Your old friend Dave
Thanks so much, Dave! It's always meaningful to hear from you. And yes, I'm loving this new studio.

Thanks so much! That's so nice of you to say that.
These are terrific! Possibly my friend Vicky Long was there for one of these (to learn from).
I believe another friend Tricia Carzoli took a ballet shoot class from you.
I am a huge fan of your work but have never seen your classes advertised.
Maybe you can share a link.

Hi Ken,
Thanks so much! Yes, Vicky was here for awhile to observe some of this. And I know Tricia's name, maybe she was part of one of my classes at ClickCon last summer. I only do a few workshops a year, aside from the annual Pas de Deux Dance Photography Conference. If you follow me on Facebook at Ron McKinney Photography, that's the main place where I announce things like that.
We're so close to each other! I presume you know I'm in Crystal Lake.
Extremely Impressive! I'd love to see only the hair-flipped water that's in the arc colored, like blue or red. Same for the girl "having a drink". Probably a technical nightmare, but I think if she had a cup of colored water for her hair, and as it's flipped move the cup with the hand that ends up to her right, hidden away from the camera. Uncured Jello should work, and be completely safe.

Yeah, I'm totally thinking of new ways to play with this concept. One thing I want to do is add a blue gel to my back lights. Coloring the water would be interesting as well.
