Thanks everyone! It was a bitter cold, extremely windy day at Arlington-"The Hallowed Ground"- but very sunny. Really not a good day for photos but the sun was barely over my shoulder so the conversion was better. The empty white chairs really highlighted the solemnity of the Honor Ceremony. The stark reality that Freedom is not free even 55 years later for this hero. The empty chairs sort of gave me a chill....this soldier's "family" is invisible to me but every chair is filled by those fallen before him welcoming him home. Arlington NC has been expanded and is in the process of expanding even more. This is in the newer section of the Cemetery.
Freedom is NOT Free! Even 55 years later!
