I captured this image the morning after being holed up in a motel room, going slightly nuts, for some 36 hours waiting out a period of steady rain/wind. After the extremes of cloudless blue and totally socked-in, it was great to have some nice low hanging clouds for a change.

That's a terrific image. The layering and light are remarkable.

Fine image, Dave. I like the contrast between the warm tones of the trees versus the snowy peaks with the low clouds providing a nice transition between the 2.
