Very nice set Bibek. I have always loved the foggy mornings out in the bush. The whole place takes on a different mood. You have captured that feeling well here. I look forward to the continuing adventure in your next post.

Thank you Steve. This one drive taught me so much about the survival instinct in animals. I was fortunate.

Beautiful set Bibek.
My fervent wish is for guides/rangers to stop giving arbitrary names to the various animals, particularly in tourist heavy areas. To me it detracts from the "wild" experience and from the sense of discovery.
Thanks a lot Peter. You know I see both sides of the coin here. Amani was a name I could relate to as much as Luluka. I had seen these and kind of anytime I read something, felt an emotional connection to the news about them.
In India or in Yellowstone, they name the tigers and wolves (respectively) via numbers. Often times the guides in India use a common name, but in Yellowstone other than the name of the wolf packs they use the numbers to identify the individual members - 832F, 755M etc. Somehow the latter takes a bit to sink in.

Amazing set, Bibek! The first one, even in foggy conditions has a very strong story about the whole set!
Are these taken from the safari truck or you were able to get off to get the low level perspective?

Unfortunately, I think it a stretch to call the animals in the heavily visited parks "wild" these days. Wild animals do not let you drive up next to them. You need to get out to very rare wild bush to see wild animals these days.

Thank you Shibu. In Mara I was not allowed to get off the vehicle, but I was as close to the floor of the vehicle as possible. I had sets of seats removed from the vehicle.

Having encountered many animals while on foot in the bush, I am perfectly content staying in the vehicles these days. Much less stressful. When out in the real bush I either carry protection, or a camera, not both.

Very nice set! Like them all, but #2 is fantastic. There is so much that musts works perfectly in that image. Starting with the shape of the tree behind her. I might be tempted to brighten the cat a touch, but I do like what you have presented here.

Michael,
Thank you very much for you comment. I really wanted to brighten the cat, but refrained given the foggy atmosphere I was in and was trying to document. Will give it a shot for sure. Thanks a lot for your time.
