This is Dakota, who moved from Ohio to southern Oregon, for a few years. She likes the outdoors, kick boxing and part time modeling. This is in the Applegate River near Red Buttes Wilderness, a few miles from the Oregon and California border. There happened to be lots of smoke in the air that day from a forest fire just down the road, and the sky cast orange color on everything. I rarely use filters, but tried one on this image for a variation. I encountered forest fire smoke two other times, and don't like how it affects so much.
MD, very beautiful image. It’s well executed and composed. The colors look fine since we can’t see what it is. Her color looks pretty natural so we’re not tipped off that anything unnatural is going on. Smokey is not a condition we seem to like it it IS natural as well, in the scheme of things!
Very nice job photographing a very lovely model! Ohio’s lose is your gain!!! LoL 👍

Dakota must like you a lot MD. She's all goose-bumpy and is sitting on a river rock! I must chide you for posting only one image. Beautiful background. You have her attention; love the slight smile and slightly-intense gaze.

Here's one more variation from the same location, same day, same filter.
For me, the second one is H&S above the first. Why? All I can think of when I see the first one is that she is (or needs to) go potty (maybe 'cause I have young kids).
I know the area well. I lived near Medford/Ashland for 2 years This woman is a beauty! Your lighting is perfect. The bg is phenominal and accents her beauty and clothing!
Great image!

Excellent images! Very nice poses and lighting. Good job with the backgrounds not being too messy.
I like the first image better. I like the overall colors with the reds and bluish rocks. The second image has too many browns for my taste and the model's hair is a bit too wild.
Both are very nice images. I hope you both liked the images you got.

The lighting was crazy that day, so anything salvageable I'm glad for, but I hear you on the browns. The dress was green actually. Maybe when I get back from the redwoods this week, I'll share the unfiltered color.
The colors in these remind me of the old ten commandment movies when the waters of the Nile river turned to blood.
