Thanks Dom!!!! It indeed is an old steam powered baler and thrasher. Not as well kept as the one's in the museum.
Canvas belts drive the mechanics.

Yes rust is indeed colored....I have the ones from West Point you speak of with shades of green on the track buckles!

Thanks Brother! This guys yard was a museum to rust!!!! All vintage early 1900's steam powered equipment just left to...RUST!!!! An actual steam shovel, this baler/thrasher, a field plow and a tractor.
