I had a good time meeting up with a few old friends at Conowingo. I have not gone in a few years. It was slow at times but I did get a few nice rounds of action. I used the EOS R as my main setup this year paired with the 400mm f2.8 Mk III + 2x. If performed very well. I also had the 1dx Mark II and the 400mm DO II with me. Here are a few from the trip.
Awesome set Rob!! It may have been "slow" but it sure doesn't look that way from the action you captured. That EOS R seems to be doing really well in your hands. If it just had some more FPS, I think it would have been an easy buy for me after seeing what you have been doing with it....that is, before my last Canon big white was sold
Really and awesome set of eagle activity Rob. You have some fantastic under-views with great detail. Sharpness and color look spot on, presentation is superb! I'm glad to see you making that EOS R sing

This is a terrific set Rob. I love the photo with the eagle mixed in the fall color. Lots of great action and superb exposures and sharpness. 1, 2, 5, 8 and 14 are my favorites.
