My 9 year old and I got up early to go to the top of Cadillac Mountain for sunrise on the last day we were in Acadia National Park this summer. The crowd was there (as it always is), but we were able to find a little spot to sit together, take photos, and enjoy the cool experience of knowing that we were the first in the US to see the sunrise that morning.
This is a 6-shot pano stitched in Lightroom. C&C is always welcome, and comments are very much appreciated. Thanks for viewing, and I hope you enjoy!

Love the selfie, especially the smiling face of a young guy up so early!
Thank you, Rajan! He actually picked the selfie shot as one he wanted printed to put up on the wall of his bedroom, so we've got an 8x12 metal print of it on it's way right now.

Matt,
That's a fantastic view to share for sunrise. Get him a camera and take him places
Thanks Sunny, it certainly was! I got him a little Powershot SX700 two Christmases ago, and he was taking photos with me that morning

Beautiful colors and I like the foreground. I think he enjoyed a special day with Dad!
Thank you! I know he did, but I think I did even more!

Love both images, Matt. Did this with family many, many moons ago, and it is still special to me. Cold up there, but it was worth it.
Thanks, Fred! It was special to me too, it's certainly a memory I'll keep with me for a LONG time.
