Pramote, it’s not very often I see a landscape here I think is worth commenting on.
This is areally wonderful image. Everything about it is great, from the subject to the subtle colors to the softened water!!
A suggestion you might try. I turned it to portrait mode and think the dead tree gets much more interesting and becomes a much stronger subject.
One of my cropping rules is that once any aspect of a photo stops adding to the image, it’s not needed! Sometimes we don’t need more sunset, or blue sky or more water. We see enough of the water here to know it’s there. More of it doesn’t necessarily strengthen the subjec and can actually dilute its impact.
Anyway, just thought I’d share how I often decide how to frame and crop.
What a beautiful image, thanks for posting!!!

I love the idea of showing a dead tree in such pastel light. I think Salvador Dali would approve.

Great shot. Was that on Maui? I just got back from there.

Great color tones of the sea/sky, and clarity of the wood. One of those shots that would look excellent printed 10 feet wide and hung on a huge wall.
Thank you so much for your kind words! It printed beautifully.
