A lot of times, the camera does pick up much more than they eye can see. However, I've been out in some pretty intense Northern Lights where they are dancing all over the place and very bright. You can't do anything but watch them as you are mesmerized. If you haven't seen them, add them to your bucket list, you won't regret it !
