Yesterday on Remembrance Day (9/11) I photographed the light exhibit that has been a tradition here in New York City. This was the first time I've photographed the lights due to the emotions I've dealt with as a result of personal losses.
My condolences for your losses. Excellent captures.

NYC's memorial to the victims of this tragedy is beautiful and helps us all remember their lives, dreams and personalities. We lost so much that day.
Your photos are a good reminder to me. Thanks for sharing these. They are beautiful.

Condolences for your losses in this tragic event. Lovely photos!
This is really excellent coverage, Morris. Every shot is beautiful and a tribute to the many hundreds of lives lost that day. Thank you for sharing and I'm sorry for your loss.
Well done Morris. I had a studio on Debrosses during a mobility program during my undergrad, lived on E. 8. Walked to and from nearly every day, looking up the towers. Then came back for grad school and worked for artists that lived and worked on Bleeker - burned out and left.
Both my younger brother and sister and many friends were nearby the following year and thankfully all are here now, but to this day have their own haunting memories.
Thanks for posting. I've been back many times and haven't been able to bring myself to visit the memorial or the new building.

Thank you Mike,
It was nearly 15 years till I was able to visit the area and that has helped the healing.
