I've been waiting for reports of the Canon TS-E lenses on the GFX100. I know they work but wondering how well. Does the 24 TS-E have the resolution to handle the sensor? So yes I think a 24mm and 35mm shift would be quite popular from Fuji.

I posted photos of a test earlier this year between the Canon 24 t-s and the Fuji 23 on the 50S. Short answer is that they're pretty close in the central area when stopped down (f/8-11), but the Fuji trounces the Canon as one approaches the sides, even without any movements. (It gets worse when the latter are used.) The tests have left me reluctant to use the Canon unless I really, really need movements.

Compared to what? If you need a ~24 t/s the TS-E is really the only game in town. If the 24 TS-E is good on less capable sensors, it can only be at least somewhat better on a better sensor.
I will be comparing the Canon TSE 24 v2 and 17mm versus GF 23 over the next month or so for my style of landscape shooting. Will share conclusions. Danny Burke, I remember seeing your tests, but can’t recall which version of the 24 TSE were you testing. I also wonder how far the drop off occurs across the sensor. Should I expect to have to crop to 35mm mode or is some of the space beyond that acceptable with movements?

It's the current version (Mark II).
Whether or not it's acceptable is an individual choice, but it's a clear difference compared to the GF23. I'll take a guess and say that you'd probably see it in a print 16x20 or larger.
Just shift lenses for me. In an ideal world without tilt, but realistically they would probably have tilt.
A 30mm shift is the key one I want/need/covet.
45mm would be my other choice.
I would be interested in some others, but these are the key ones for me.
I hope there will at least be a 30.
A friend of mine was talking to the US Fuji rep and he thought there was no business case for a shift lens, but looking at the various online forums, shift lenses seem to be very popular. Let’s hope he’s wrong, with a new Fuji lens roadmap in the offing we may not have to wait long, and I guess there will be prototypes at Photo Plus in October.

35mm, 40mm, and 45mm are possible using Medium format lenses with tilt/shift adapters from Kipon. IMO, the Hasselblad CFE 40mm IF (not the non-IF) version is a wonderful choice with a nice big image circle and excellent performance, but there are other lenses as well.

That is disappointing news. Using a 23 and tiling the camera body will not be much of an advantage over using the Sony A7R4 with the TS-E lens. I do think the 24 TS-E is a bit behind the 17 TS-E in resolution but 17 on the Fuji is just too wide for my needs. I'll look forward to more tests until I get my hands on one myself.

Unfortunately that is probably the case. Although Fuji made a fantastic camera called the GX680 that I used back in the film days where every lens shifted and tilted, They probably don't see much demand for that today at the prices they would need to charge. That was a fantastic camera system and always wished they would make a smaller digital version of it. To me, the Fuji and the Contax 645 were the best MF systems back then and neither went digital... Everything since seems like a cheap compromise. Maybe when I get the Fuji100 in my hands I'll feel differently but it won't be much use to me without shift lenses.

ARGH...

A friend is currently using a GFX (was 50S, now the 100*) with a tilt-shift adapter for Pentax MF zoom lenses. (He also uses the 32-64 and the 100-200 Fujifilm lenses.) He's pretty happy with this setup.
It may be that those wanting movements will have to satisfy themselves via adapted lenses for some time.
Being able to tilt/shift zooms is actually a pretty cool and useful thing. These are pretty good lenses, and you have extraordinary control over framing/composition.
Dan
*He's going back and forth on the 100MP body versus the 50S. (We agreed that it would be an easier choice if the 100MP sensor was in the 50S body.) It produces great files, but he's not totally happy with the added size/weight, nor is he yet totally convinced the the IQ improvement is that significant. We just spent a week in the Sierra backcountry, and I'm hoping to see some of his results before too long.
I'll be surprised if Fuji comes out with even one tilt-shift lens for the GFX cameras.* My read is that people who discover they need what that kind of lens can do, but haven't used one before, will go for the software solution instead (using wide angle lenses and correcting verticals during post-processing; focus stacking). I don't view those techniques as a particularly good substitute for camera movements, but they will get the job done for lots of people, and they're only getting easier to do.
Meanwhile there are lots of adapted solutions for die-hard tilt-shifters. I wanted more movements than I was getting on my X cameras with a tilt-shift adapter and OM lenses, so earlier this year I started using a GFX 50R as a "medium format back" on a Toyo VX23D. I'm not limited to whatever focal length a lens manufacturer decides I need. I wanted 35mm, 45mm, 60mm, 80mm, 125mm and 180mm lenses, and now I have them. People who want a turnkey solution for a GFX can go with a Cambo Actus GFX setup, and still adapt all kinds of lenses. And of course there are lots of different tilt-shift adapters for medium format lenses.
* I have exactly zero insider knowledge on Fuji's plans for tilt-shift lenses, so you can take my surprise for what it's worth...

Any more information on this? 2020? Bulbous front element?
I’m sure it will have a large front element. Look at All the WA zooms recently and you will see that. Will it permit a front filter? That is the big question.
Beyond that, I haven’t seen a timeline for it, and who knows, it possibly could never happen, but I bet it will.
It was definitely on the roadmap that Fujirumors posted a year and a half ago, so here’s hope that it will come sooner rather than later.
