I just came upon this photograph from a few years back — a group of folks I photograph with in the Sierra backcountry every summer. Made a couple of days out into the Yosemite wilderness back in 2014.
If you wonder how a group of photographers*, base-camped in the Yosemite backcountry for a week or more, might pass the midday "blah light" hours, here's one idea...
I knew of Charlie's piano pieces, Banjo too? Sure you all made some nice music in the Sierras. Took a printing class with Charlie last year and just loved his perspectives.

Bibek
He's a long time friend of ours, though the friendship started via music rather than photography. (He played at our wedding, for one thing.)
He definitely knows his stuff. Taught me about 90% of what I needed to know about digital printing over a decade ago when I was making the transition.

Indeed Dan. He taught me 100% of what I know of printing now. In addition, the best thing I learnt from him was the LAB Histogram mode for my processing and have not gone back to the CMYK or the RGB again. He taught me to see things a lot differently through the viewfinder.
