Thanks but I am more interested in how the pieces fit together to make a larger whole (body of work) rather than each individual piece. How are they visually working together? Are they fitting into an overall look and theme related to the title?

Thanks Dan. Kinda of a different direction from the past few years of all B&W. Still seeing if this is a direction that is really working for me or not.

I'll be retiring in the next year or two. Here in Georgia, I can go to any university tuition free. I'm thinking about working on a M.F.A., partly for something to do and partly because although I have two Bachelor's degrees, I'm the only one who doesn't have a graduate degree.
I've come up with a few ideas for my Masters project. I'll have to do some exploring to see if any of them work out.
I expressed concern to my wife that I'm such a traditionalist photographically, I wasn't sure I could come up with something "fine artsy" enough for the faculty. She reassured me by stating: "Don't worry about it, you can take that fuzzy out of focus s*** with the best of them."

My only advice is follow your heart and do something very honest to you. GOOD LUCK. Will you get your masters then your MFA from the same university?

"Dmac"...go for it my friend!!!! The South is a "target rich environment" for projects. Wish Maryland would allow seniors to get a degree or post grad work for free! Look forward to your project!

I realize this is counter to your intentions, but to my eye, these shots plead for BW.
The color is lovely... even inviting... but, again, to my eye and brain, they quickly become minor expressions in color that could be significant images in black and white.
Your mileage may vary and thanks so much for sharing. It certainly gave me something to mull over.
