Since I'm currently processing through my Patagonia pile of pics - here's our final morning capture of Torres del Paine. It was our last morning in the park, all the precipitation had blown through during the night and it was a cold (no bitter cold), windy and clear morning. We had climbed up on a high ridge to capture the light of sunrise on Lago Nordenskjold and its mountains. However, the cloudless sky, although great for stars, did not do us any favors with what we had pictured for a sunrise shoot.
Time for Plan B, which was to do some 300mm pics to stitch a Torres del Paine pano, which had a tiny wisp of a cloud. So I'm posting 2 pics, the first is what I'm show-casing - the stitched pano that very briefly had some morning glow. The 2nd pic is just a record shot showing what we were seeing that morning. The stitched pano came from the mountains, tucked behind, in the very center of the mountain range.
Hope you enjoy - and as always - appreciate all your C&C.

The first one is outstanding. Love the light kissing the peak.
Thanks Harry for your kind words. As I'm sure you well know - those light kissing peak moments can be ever so brief!

Thanks - and for obvious reasons this is such a favorite place on this planet. . . with endless photo ops!

Both are beautiful, but I really like the 2nd image.
Thanks for your unexpected comments on the 2nd image. I only meant it as a record shot but you've encourage me to put more attention into this pic. Regrettably my photo editing monitored died this week and a new monitor is on order - but at least here's a laptop improvement (I hope!) on what I previously posted!
