Neist Point is a long haul from anywhere. Took us a couple hours of driving from our base on the Isle of Skye down plenty of narrow, sheep-filled roads, finally pulling into the parking area just as the sun was getting low.
As soon as we hit the parking lot we noticed our Volvo rental had developed a serious starboard list, and a quick check confirmed that one of the crappy roads had claimed a victim. It was going to have to wait though as the light was getting good, so we booked it down to the lighthouse just in time to get this. Even the bad days in Scotland are still great.
I'd say your efforts paid off nicely! Love your composition and processing. However, I do wonder what it would look like if you darken that light band of sky just above the clouds that's parallel with the lighthouse - without darkening the projected from the lighthouse.

That is a fantastic idea! I'm going to give that a try. That part of the sky bugged me too.
