Great shot!
Do you have any advice on how to track the weather like this? I've been using the Weather Underground app and the landscape photography parameters with some success, but would love any tips you might have.
First of all, sorry for not responding for all this time. I have been on the road constantly since August doing the workshops and am FINALLY rolling home for some very much needed family life!

I can't decide if my favorite part of this is the incredible light on the low clouds or the incredible light on the lake. They complement each other perfectly though.
Huge thank you.

Great pic Mark! I like how you refrained from cranking up the shadow recovery.
And just another constant reminder for me that if you want to be a landscape photographer you better learn and pay attention to weather!
Thank you so much Dave. Your work is always awesome! Blessings on you and your family!

Your knowledge of the weather certainly gets you to the right place at the right time, but it is what your do with your camera when you get there that wows me.
Thank you very much! Actually I have been asked to make a Video Tutorial on how I study the weather to up the odds dramatically in capturing dramatic light. I think I will finally make that this year. Enough clients have asked me to, to where I see the value.

Thank you so much. Actually I have been asked so many times to create a Video Tutorial on how I study and chase the weather, I am finally going to do this this year. It is a bit comprehensive, but yields very improved results! If you join my Newsletter on my website (Newsletter Signup) you will get my notifications (and a lot of valuable free stuff).
