I think that I am going to try to put my Canon new FD 500mm f4.5L lens with 4th Generation replacement foot; 3 Canon 48mm Drop in Circular Polarizers (1 in mint condition, 1 with Singh-Ray LB Color Combo glass, 1 in good/excellent condition that I was going to have Singh-Ray replace the glass); 2 Canon 48mm Drop in Filter Holders; Canon FD 1.4X TC; Canon FD 2X TC; Canon FD 25mm Extension Tube, and Canon FD 50mm Extension Tube up for sale on the Boards. I haven't used the Canon in some time, but it is sharp.
I will see how all of this sells and if you early Guinea Pigs like the 200-600mm G lens possibly purchase one after I sell much or all of the above. I would not expect to sell my 100-400mm GM lens.

The clincher, and this might seem odd is USB charging and the ease of carrying a USB charging brick. I can't charge the Nikons via USB and all the Sonys we'll carry are capable. That eliminates so much other junk.
Plus the little dinky plane company has me limited to 20 pounds of kit! That is supposed to include clothes too
And I remember before the flight to Kaktovik they weighed each passenger....so that does happen and might make me think twice about loading up the cargo pants with lenses.

I got the same invitation with one minor difference. Yours says Tuesday June 19, mine says Wednesday June 19. For some reason your June 19th seems to be a day ahead of mine. It would have been nice to see you there but I guess I will miss you by a day.

Dave, your invitation is for June 20, Wednesday, huh? Apparently, Sony is anticipating a large crowd and they feel the need to split the group into two. According to my calendar June 19 is Wednesday. I think your invitation has an error.

Hahaha, I checked the date on the actual ticket they sent and indeed the event is on Wednesday, June 19. Then we will attend the event on the same day. That’s funny .
