Thank you! I appreciate your comment. I like to link your name '"story_teller" to it, because since this short encounter, I've been wondering what her curious eyes can tell me about her thoughts at this moment. A lot of young people from Georgia leave their country to western countries when they are old enough due to a lack of possibilities.
When I first saw the photo, I thought that it would be so impactful if there were a driver with their hands on the steering wheel, like they were leaving. With that look, many different stories could have been imagined by the viewer.
Nice!
I have always seen her as being caught up in her circumstances, the old car, not being the driver which means decision maker of her life in every regard. She (still) has to follow her parents (= country's) ways. But I see her yearning look. So kind of the same association as yours. Just without the driver
Thank you Sir! Post processing is always delicate. I'm glad it resonates with you. This is how I felt it (and actually not far away (if at all) from what is was since pictures/situations always are to us how we feel them).
Very nicely done. The image conveys exactly what it was meant to, no explanation needed you just have to see it and I did. Thanks for sharing it with us!
Love it.....!!!!! So simple, so abstract, so to the point. It makes one thinks what is she thinking and at the same think you can read her mind....." why is that weirdo taking my pic"
Good job.
