I know, it's hackneyed content I took it through the window of the moving bus I ride from downtown Philly to where I live. The miniature Rodin Museum, Ben Franklin Pkwy. Big Dude in the pic is well know....Dude on cell phone, not so much. :: Gave me a chance to play around with this photo in B&W.
Thank you. I did substantial cropping to camera left and right to try to frame the picture better and some levels adjustment to try to get the blacks less dense but also to avoid too much highlighting. I'm not very skilled yet at doing these kinds of adjustments, so it looks like Photoshop course is in order. Thank you for your compliment (oh, the other lucky aspect is that the bus windows apparently had been recently washed)
By the way, if you don't want to go full bore with Photoshop yet, here's a much easier to learn, basic editor, and it's free - Faststone Image Viewer. I use it to examine and cull images before import into Lightroom, and occasionally to do some quick edits for images shared with family.
Yes nice juxtaposition. I’d like to see a little more to the right putting the Thinker more on the thirds since it has the power position here.
Did anybody ever ask Rodin what the thinker was thinking??
Nice shot!

@krug, thank you very much. A completely accidental happenstance... and @JohnSil, I went back and forth as to how to crop the photo, opting for a sense of symmetry, and one option I thought of was to extend it out to camera right, but i didn't know about "power position." thanks so much to both of you...
