First of all, thank you so much, beyond words for the condolences and kind words here. Suffering also teaches me about people. I am always amazed at how people reach out and care. Really amazes me.
SORRY I can not respond at the moment to everyone individually. I have to travel from FL to OR to attend my moms memorial, then back to FL for business, then back to Or for 2 weeks of my year's photo season work. Then back to FL again...
All the best to everyone here!
I will say that I am in a lot of grief, but peace at the same time. I am at peace at where my mom is. Also, going to the ocean lately has been helpful. She really gave me the genetics/gift of creativity as well as the love for the ocean especially. I can almost feel her in me these days.
To all those who have lost deeply loved ones. Sincere blessings on your own healing!
I've enjoyed viewing your work over the years and most recently listening to the podcast you did on printmaking with Robert Park. I'm really sorry for your losses and hope your aunt is able to make a full recovery.
Thank you everyone. I had just amoment to thank everyone here so very much for all the condolences! I'll try to get to everyone when I can. All the best to everyone.

Mark,
How truly blessed we are to have been brought into this world by truly beautiful people. My mom passed last July and not a day goes by that I am not awed by what a wonderful person she was. It seems as if your mom was the same. I pray your aunt recovers fully.
I am sorry for the lose of your dog too. I know how that is also.
Take care,
David
Huge thank you David. Sorry about your mom! Yes, I have been very blessed. The funeral was last weekend and it was not easy. I'm in her home right now and every square inch of this place reminds me of her. My sincere condolences to you.

Real sorry to hear about your losses, Mark. Our pets are members of our family, and their passing is equally painful. I share your grief totally.
Condolences to you as well. I believe this stuff can teach us the best things to learn in life, if we do not allow them to tempt us to become bitter or cynical.

Your mother has a wonderful face. My sincerest sympathies.
Thank you so much.
I agree. There were tons of people at her funeral saying the same thing: she was the sweetest person they had ever met.

Mark what a difficult time this must be for you and your family. I wish you and your family the best as you move forward in life with the great memories of your Mom and special dog. Wonderful image as always!
Great image Mark. My thoughts go out to you and your family.... I found myself in a similar position to yours several years ago and with the help of my friends I was able to get through it. I try to take nothing for granted....
