I am finally sharing this last set as I play catch up and am organizing to make an album for her. It's always a great thing that I can take my own kids' portraits and Senior sessions, but the editing (for me, at least) always seems to get pushed to the back of the line! Still worth it, though. I always encourage my Seniors to get a few shots in the lilacs if possible. They are everywhere in New Hampshire and, luckily, here in my new town of Ashland, Wisconsin, as well. (Keep in mind, that they start blooming again soon!) Happily, putting all three sets together, I was able to get a lot of variety overall -- not bad for a homeschooled kid! Here are my favorites. Fee free to comment or ask me anything.:
1.) We were lucky to find beautiful lilac bushes at our local BANK! It's all in the angle. She wanted minimal make-up for this set.
2.)
3.)
4.)
5.) Happy to find some white lilacs, too!
6.)
7.) Our last shot of the day. We live on the shores of Lake Superior, so incorporated that.
8.) One last bonus shot on a different day. Couldn't resist the wild lupine!

Kristin - Agree with rw. Your daughter is so lucky to have you. All I've ever seen from you is consistently excellent work, and work with great feeling, and this is no different.

Thanks so much, Peter -- what a wonderful compliment.

Yes, also different hairstyle and makeup does that (though they were taken only a few weeks apart.) Thank you!

#2 for me. Wish my lilacs could blooom like those shown.
Not sure where you are, but they bloom like that all across the northern US, but some years are definitely better than others. I actually got these in at the tail end of the season, so was lucky to still find a nice bush.
