I love my Colorado fall color scenes. Grand vistas, aspen forests, and if I can leverage a close up/tight scene that speaks to me...I'm ecstatic! The subject was a challenge to photograph at 220mm in less than optimal light, and breezy conditions... but I had all day for the scene to finally meet my native file criteria. Per post...I went deep, but not 'black' darks. I went deep reds, yellows, and blues to accentuate the leaf rim "aspen trees" reflection.
