I had a great time with Matt Shetzer on his south Texas bird photography workshop back in late January. I did some birding afterwards and visited some well known (and excellent) birding areas in the Lower Rio Grande Valley.
Highly rewarding birding effort and that's in Texas, huh? It could have been from Costa Rica, Ecuador or some more exotic places. The images are excellent; the Phoebe, Crested Caracaras and Green Jay are my top picks. Well done, Hugh!
Oh man that Bobwhite is special! Fabulous Audubon Oriole image Pose and perch of the Caracaras is a beauty Kiskadee shows such a wonderful pastel creamy soft yellow with excellent detailing, nicely presented!
