p.1 #1 · And the cold never bothered me anyway....
Congratulations to eyelaser for winning Feature Thread of the Week with 3 votes - View Previous Winners
Just a few of the many many many images I was fortunate to get this past week.
An epic trip with my good friend and former WLPOY Don Gutoski to Churchill Manitoba to see the great white bear. The experience was amazing but behind the scenes there can be issues which include Noro Virus and a touch of frostbite. With temps hovering around -10 to -15F and wind chills down to -40F it requires good preparation to avoid losing digits and prominent facial features.
But, hey, the cold never bothered me anyway...

Eric, glad you survived the Noro virus and frost bite ! These images are jaw dropping , amazing and stunning.
The blue background is gorgeous. Is that background the sky or sea , or both? Your processing of the whites and tones is so very well done. Marvelous work

Another amazing series, Eric! You sure got my vote! The way you handle the whites on the bears as they are ensconced in the snow is brilliant! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Morris....good to be back....a good time but it was like being on a cruise ship for a while...minus the all you can eat buffet and Broadway shows.
