Got up to Lower Proxy Falls a few weekends ago in the snow. The hike in and out was a slog on the snow covered road. It was super sketchy hiking around the base, on top of snow covered boulders with water running through them. At least there wasn't much spray . These were all shot on Velvia 50 with Pentax 67 Feedback always welcome.

Very nice. I like the second one the best. How did you manage to get there anyway? Isn't the road closed from both sides?

Thanks Phil

The trail head is 2.5 miles from the snow gate. It's about 6 miles round trip hike in total. The trail was packed down enough to not need snow shoes or skis. After the big dump we had this week you would definitely need them now.
