Thank you very much, Juan! I thought you would have earlier in the year. But we will do it again next January around the first full moon.

Count me impressed....when I see this kind of work I always wonder if I would be up to the task....not sure I would to anything like these. So well done. You've got you camera/lens combos dialed in just perfectly...great series Joshua!!

I'm afraid I think the moon in #7 sucks.
Tony
Thank you very much, Tony! But I am sorry, I couldn't do much about the moon....

The images were captured in January during a 3-day visit to Bosque del Apache together with a few shooting buddies. The cameras used are mirrorless although the main lens for long reach is a DSLR lens but fitted via an adapter. Since it is crossposted, I will not elaborate on the technical shooting aspects but the exif data for each image is there and please do feel free to ask any questions. Your feedback/comments are greatly appreciated.
So glad to see your pictures....I just got a A9 and I have a a7r3, and all of my Canon lens....so now if I can just set them up as you did and shoot such wonderful pictures as you have...I would be most pleased....
thanks for sharing them with us....

Do you shoot with TrenchMonkey down there (he's offered to shoot with me a few times)? I've been there only once (I live east of Albuquerque now, so about 2 hours away) and nabbed a few decent shots, but the birds weren't playing nice on the day I went (and was also much less experienced!)

One of the few 'keepers' I nabbed
Yes, we did get together and had some cold ones with Will a few times. I hope we can get together with him again this time around. There will be several FMers from various parts of the country this time around. We will be there on Wednesday, Dec. 11 to Saturday, Dec. 14. Each time, we time our visit to coincide with the full moon for obvious reasons. Our 2 full days will be on Thursday and Friday. Please feel free to come down, Jeremy!
