I was in Yosemite on Feb. 16th & 17th, 2019. It had snowed VERY hard which made it difficult to get to some of my favorite locations but with some effort, I managed to get to this spot just in time for sunset.
So worth the effort. I was in Yosemite this past weekend and still very cold and a lot of snow everywhere. Love the sunset glow on El Capitan and the river.

Photographing snow in Yosemite is always a crap shoot. The valley is at 4k so it takes a cold storm for snow in the valley.
